Can somebody explain what are the advantages and disadvantages of using this options?
"Export to sodx" or "Publish smartobject"?
Also, I did use the option to Export to sodx but then I couldn't find a way to update it after I changed my SharePoint list definition.

Publish SmartObject:
Publish the SmartObject to the K2 Server and create the relevant entries in the K2 DB which stores the XML for the SO
Export to sodx:
Created a readable .SODX file (SmartObject XML with wrappers around it) which can be copied to let’s say a different environment and opened by K2Studio etc. When deploying a .SODX file from studio you actually “publishing” the SmartObject to the server.
