What do you mean with "created the same for next level"? Is this not correct that it will create a new task item for the next activity?

Could you perhaps explain in more detail what your situation is?

We have a k2 workflow integrated with MOSS and Infopath. When the user submits the infopath form, k2 moves to next level based on the status selected by user and update a task list in MOSS. What we have experienced is while processing the succeeding rule in k2server its unable to delete the tasklist item and the temproary xml file for the particular instance but the taskitem and the xml files are created for next activity. So that the user get undeleted task item in his tasklist making double entries.

Hi,

Can you make sure that the user account that your K2 server is running as, has access to the specific forms library. This account needs to be a Site collection Administrator on the specific site but sometimes it is also necessary to give this user Full Control to the Forms Library.

 Thanks for the suggestion. We have the account in Site Collection Admins group but did not add to any specific library or task list. Let us give a try and keep you posted.

 We have added the k2 service user with fullcontrol to the task list. Nothing changed.

 As another try we did add an error handler to write the error messages in the succeeding rule of each activity. And we got the following errors. But it does not happen always and happens only 20-40% of the time

1. When k2 tries to delete the task list item got "The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized."

2. When k2 tries to delete the temproary xml files got "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive."

3. And rarely got "Unable to connect to the remote server" when trying to delete the task item.
