Hi, I am trying to do a minimum custom install of K2 4.6.4 just so that I have the necessary components to install K2 for Visual studio 2012, as I'll be pointing to an existing server and so won't be fully setting everything up locally.  However when I run the K2 setup manager, I don't see the Custom components selection step, and it just goes straight the licence key then Website setup for the workspace.  This is against my previous experiences and what the K2 install guide suggests

 

Has anyone faced this before and know a workaround?

1.  Was K2 perhaps installed on this machine prior?  If so perhaps there are still remnants settings that cause it to detect the previous installation.


 


2.  Are there any K2 components in Control Panel > "Programs and Features" right now?


 


3.  You may also need to remove any SourceCode registry keys and retry:


 


- Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftware" and delete the "SourceCode" node.
- Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareWow6432Node" and delete the "SourceCode" node as well.
- Re-run the Setup.exe.
