K2 Consolidation tool failed on the Constrains, Prod, Index step
 

Diagnoses

We checked the log file created by the K2 database consolidation tool, and found the following line: Exception occurred while processing script: Configuration1550ScriptscleanSourceCode.Data.SmartBroker.index.sql Exception: An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.

We located the script indicated in the database consolidation tool > Configuration > 1550 > Script > clean folder, and ran it to create the stored procedure on the server. We then executed it against the database directly, which gave the actual error. In this case, it was a duplicate entry in the SmartBroker.ServiceInstance table.
 

Resolution

We removed the duplicate entry from the SmartBroker.ServiceInstance table, and ran the database consolidation tool again, which succeeded.
