Symptoms

 


When executing a workflow, an event keeps erroring with either:
Message: Retried execution 3 times : Requested Service not found ServiceName: ConnectService ServiceGuid: dGUID] InnerExceptionMessage: Message: Requested Service not found ServiceName: ConnectService ServiceGuid: dGUID] InnerExceptionMessage:

or

Message: Retried execution 3 times : Object '/ GUID]/DFile Name].rem' has been disconnected or does not exist at the server. ServiceName: ConnectService ServiceGuid: dGUID] InnerExceptionMessage: Message: Object '/ GUID]/DFile Name].rem' has been disconnected or does not exist at the server. ServiceName: ConnectService ServiceGuid: dGUID] InnerExceptionMessage:

The event is attempting to evaluate the data in a SmartObject Reference. The SmartObject executes a FM in SAP via K2Connect. This error is only occurring on large orders that contain a lot of data in the SmartObject. Reducing the amount of data queried does not alter the behavior.

 

 

Diagnoses

 


In order for the change you made to the Item Reference SmartObject to take effect, the Item Reference used in the process will need to be removed and re-added, then redeploy the process.
 

 

Resolution

Editing the SmartObject call (each Item Reference) inside the process, remove, and, re-add it back into the function, and redeploy the process resolved the issue.
