Symptoms
After performing clean installation of K2 Connect 4.7 (4.10060.880.0) getting an error while testing a new Destination in K2 connect Administration: Connection test failed. Error while retrieving information about RFC connection.
Diagnoses
This error may point to authorization error, so we checked account permissions on the SAP side to make sure that all required permissions are granted, as described in K2 Connect product documentation in "Understanding K2 Connect - Permissions" section.
Resolution
Make sure that you have relevant permissions on SAP side as explained above, if any of required permissions are missing add them and perform connection test once again.
