K2 for Sharepoint Configuration on a different site collection(different webapplication) other than the webapplication where K2 is configured throwing some errors saying,


This page contains one or more errors. Fix the following before continuing:



  • Unable to connect to Host Server.
  • Authentication With Server Failed : SAML Token could not be verified. Please ensure your config is setup correctly

Anyone have any idea on this.

Found the solution, you have to configure "SharePoint 2010 claims authentication" with K2 first.

check --> K2 Help: Installation and Configuration > Configuration > SharePoint > Claims-based Authentication.
