Hi,


I am experiencing performance issues with K2 Blackpoint 4.10060.1.0 in WSS 3.


Response from K2 takes between 1 and 3 minutes, with no apparent load on CPU, disk, memory etc.


i.e. I open workflows on a document and am presented with a list of available workflows.  I select a K2 Integrated workflow.  It is 2 minutes until I am presented with then 'Start workflow' screen, after selecting the 'Start' button, it is at least another minute until I get back to the document library.


The Sharepoint environment running on the same servers is very responsive, and Sharepoint only workflows are quick to respond.


The My Worklist web part also takes longer than 45 seconds load items (even if there are no outstanding tasks), ruining the user experience on any pages that contain the web part .


Any help on how to troubleshoot would be much appreciated!

DNS appears to be working fine.


They are on dedicated SQL 2008 box, which is also serving the WSS 3.0 back-end.


K2Server db size is 915MB, logs are ~2GB


K2HostServer size is 895MB, logs are ~2.2GB


The rest of them are considerably smaller.  There is no apparent load bottleneck on the sql side when workflows are kicked off.


What other information would you like?

Any ideas on how to increase the page load performance of the 1.7.x versions of k2?
