Changing the SQL Alias name, will this effect K2 ?

What is the best approach to change the SQL Alias name and point this back to K2 ?
Will you have to rerun the K2 Blackpearl set up to do this?
What effects can this have if not done correctly ?
Resolution
It should be fine to point to the new sql Alias name within the installer when running as configuration, this is where it should be specified once it gets to the Database screen.
You may need to re-enter your password again just for security purposes. After this you will then need to continue on with the install and make sure there no errors within the configuration analysis as well.
The K2 server should be fine after this.
