File rssrvpolicy.config file not found error on Installation Health
Encountered an installation health error relating to the file "rssrvpolicy.config" file.
This file is present on the server in the following location:
C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL ServerMSRS12.MSSQLSERVERReporting ServicesReportServer

 

Diagnoses

We confirmed the rssrvpolicy.config was presents in the environment and did a comparison of the config file.
Ran the K2 Blackpearl installation again and saw it was not possible to access the web services link configure for SQL reporting.
Confirmed with the client that it was not required for their environment setup.
 

Resolution

In the K2 installation media we selected the modify option and unchecked the SQL reporting module.
When setup was completed the configuration analysis was green on all components.
Client selected close ticket.

If SQL reporting is required.
It can be added at a later stage with the K2 installation media and prerequisites requirements for reporting setup correctly.
