K2 Blackpearl and Smartforms installation queries
Diagnoses
When having gone through the initial K2 Blackpearl Install along with Smartforms you do notice one or two errors within the analysis steps which are seen below:
1. During the K2 Blackpearl installation, Configuration Analysis highlighted a couple of issues re:
a) SmartObject Services, and b) the registry setting MSMQ Workgroup flag for Message Queuing.
2. During the K2 Smartforms installation, You are unable to install K2 SmartForms Process Wizards due to prereq's not being met.
Resolution
MSMQ Workgroup Flag:
You can resolve this by opening up the registry and setting the workgroup flag to 0 instead of 1 within the following path: local machinesoftwaremicrosoftMSMQParameters
Run the analysis again and it should pass on the MSMQ step.
In regards to the second point. Smartforms prereqs will have to be met before running the set up again.
