We have configured and deployed K2 applications successfully on our SP 2013 site. However, when attempting to add the K2 BP app to a subsite the app is not available. When we open SharePoint Store the app is there but disabled (Can't add this app here).

Is this a permissions issue or possibly something missed in the initial installation?

Any help is appreciated.

Happy Thanksgiving

1.  Is this Sharepoint On-Premise or Online?

2.  If On-premise, if you select the "From my Organization"; does it return the K2 App and is it disabled?

3.  Are you perhaps using "System Account"?

Below are documentation regarding the permission for the adding of the K2 Application to a site:

http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2forsharepoint/userguide/4.6.11/default.htm#About_K2_for_SharePoint/CompatSecPermConsid/K2_Application_Permissions_in_SharePoint.htm?TocPath=About%2520K2%2520for%2520SharePoint|_____4

Please use a Non-"System Account" with the necessary permissions to add the K2 App, as per:
http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/K2ForSharePoint/ICG/4.6.11/default.htm#Install_Topics/Maintenance/Troubleshooting.htm?Highlight="system%20account"

Perhaps also attach a screenshot of this behavior if the above information is irrelevant.

Is conceivable that you might need to Add the App with some account that is a Site Collection Administration.

Also try to add the K2 Service Account /K2 Admin account to the Site Collection Administrators of the Site. is possible that need permissions to write to the specific site.

Dino.

Thanks Gents.

It is on premise and it does sound like it may be permissions related. I will take a look and let you know.

I appreciate the feedback.
