Symptoms

AD Groups being added to SharePoint groups automatically. Client has been experiencing this issue since April 2014. Client removes the groups from SharePoint CA and the next day they are re-added by the K2 Service account. Issue was temporarily fixed when client installed 4.6.9, but after a SharePoint repair, the issue resurfaced again.

 

Diagnoses

Sent issue to Labs to investigate. The fix was removed from 4.6.9 due to it removing AD groups that were validly added to the SharePoint group.
 

Resolution

Labs has linked the ticket to the existing TFS item for tracking. A fix is not currently available as the Labs team is still investigating.
