Symptoms

I am running into a problem with the SharePoint Content Smart Objects connecting to a library with Document IDs enabled. It started with a workflow that I was trying to create a reference to the Get Document Metadata SmartObject. Seemed like no mater what I didn't this didn't work. Eventually I figured out that if I use the SharePoint generated SmartObjects it starts to work.

Using the tester, I was able to show that it works on documents that don't have a document ID and fails on documents that do.
 

Diagnoses

This is a known issue in blackpearl 4.6.8 and maybe perhaps previous versions.
 

Resolution

This is fixed in blackpearl 4.6.9. Our recommendation is to upgrade to this release of blackpearl as soon as possible.
