Symptoms


When creating a new request for some processes, next reviewer i.e. Director is not able to open the worklist item in K2 workspace. Clicking on “Open” does not do anything in IE but shows following error in Firefox. Please see the attachment.
“HTTP Error 404.0 – Not Found”
Requested URL http://localhost:81/Workspace/tasklistcontrol/undefined
You can open any OLD worklist item without any issues. We have reverted all the workflow changes we have made plus upgraded K2 to latest version but no luck.

 

Diagnoses


1. When creating a new request for some processes, next reviewer i.e. Director is not able to open the worklist item in K2 workspace. Clicking on “Open” does not do anything in IE but shows following error in Firefox. Please see the attachment.

2. Unable to resolve next reviewer’s smartform URL via Environment Library in Management Console.

 

Resolution

Was able to resolve the original issue by removing SSL binding and reconfigure K2 blackpearl and Smartforms. After that we open the process in K2 designer, updated the design template and redeploy the process.

Later customer noticed that they were unable to edit any views and forms that were deployed to this environment when the environment was 4.6.8.

We resolved the issue by package views and forms using Package and Deployment then redeploy them back to the server.
