Dear Experts,
When I’m trying to update the serviceinstance(smartbox service type), I’m getting the below error message.
And if I’m changing the datasource & initial catalog details to production, it is not giving any error message.
could someone help me out.

Hi Amar
The Smartbox service must be pointing to the the K2 database. Smartbox wont work using another SQL database.
There really is no need to update the Smartbox Service Instance.
