Symptoms

Update K2 4.6.11 to k2 4.7. Executed 4.7 update Manager and went well with Host Server and Smart Forms. Deployed K2 blackpearl for SharePoint successfully. On existed SharePoint site collection updated app by clicking GetIt. Once update it run into error: K2 for SharePoint must be configured from the App Catalog.

See KB001738 for more information. If you have multiple K2 Appit for SharePoint apps installed, keep the shared version only.

Removed App and Added back again still having the same error.
 

Diagnoses

The process for deploying the K2 for SP app has changed in 4.7. It has to be deployed from CA to site collections, not on the site collections.

That outlines the method of deploying the app centrally from CA. Please also follow the next section to activate the app from CA.
