What is the software requirement to install K2.net Studio at a power user's PC?
Does the power user need Visual Studio.net to be installed as well even though the power user is just designing the workflow and may not be compiling/exporting it to the server?

Assuming the user has the ability to design and deploy workflow processes, the user will normally will also need to create user interface forms to interact with the workflow process. For ASP.NET forms development with K2.net SmartForm controls, VS.NET is required.
An alternative to using ASP.NET forms is Microsoft InfoPath. K2.net 2003 has strong compatibility with InfoPath forms, complete with Process Templates to automate the creation of InfoPath processes.
K2.net studio requires NET Framework 1.1 SDK to be installed. If the users are not required to create ASP.net based user interface, VS.NET need not be installed.
