is there any chance that we can use the submiter's email address to sent the notification instead of the work flow ?

We have created the a workflow in SharePoint designer which sent confirmation email upon summation.

but our CEO wants the emails to be send from the users email address. I was just looking for alternatives.

is it possible to do using nintex ?

    Yes, With Nintex workflows you can specify the From address with many other extended functions over SharePoint designer workflows.  Here is the screen shot for the notification in Nintex.
