I just started using Nintex workflows and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to set the value of a column to today's date when a certain condition is met.
Is there a way to use a nintex workflow to set the date value of a column

You should be able to set the column to Workflow Context, then choose Current Date. Or in a references screen, under the Common tab, you can find Current Date and Current Time

It takes the context at the time it is used. For example, if I do the Current Date and Current Time now in a log to history list as a site workflow, it will be 2/17/15 at 12:50pm. If I then pause for 12 hours, then log to history list the Current Date and Current Time it will post 2/18/15 at 12:50ish AM
