I will attach a copy of my form, and I know this is a minor problem, but it bothers me.

If a user starts out in the Class attendee field, how can I make the tab key automatically go to the phone field instead of the location field???

I would like for it to

Start at 1. Class Attendee> 2. tab to phone number> 3. then tab to Location

INSTEAD

It starts at Class Attendee> tabs to Location and TOTALLY SKIPS the phone field.

Can you help?

the tab follow the sequence from Left to Right. Possibly the Phone control is above the Class Attendee control. Check the design of the form and verify if the controls all fall in the same line.

Hi,

As Shaju suggests, the tabbing is controlled from left to right, but also vertically. Based on your image, you will need to lift the Class attendee field so that it is above the top of the area code field and it will work fine. As it stands, if you were to click in the area code field and tabbed it would go to the Attendee and then the location.

Sometimes fields may appear to be directly in line horizontally but the smallest of margins up or down will influence the order.

Cheers,

Mark
