We are trying to install K2 blackpearl on a new machine standalone installation and our intention is to create forms using Visual studio. I was checking the pre-requisites and saw that Sharepoint and Dynamic CRM is required for K2 visual studio,which I really doubt. Can somebody help me on this ?

Sharepoint is not necessary to be installed in the server while installing k2.
You can refere the k2 installation documents for more reference.

No. SharePoint is not a requirement for Blackpearl installation. Obviously you will miss all the SharePoint and infopath integration features. If you are just going to create asp.net forms, there is no need of SharePoint, or CRM
