Symptom:
While using the IPC Server event, the Child Process could not be started if the Use Integrated User Authentication option is checked. However, if the credentials of the user is specified in the template, the child process can be started. The user has all the privileges (Admin, Start, View, and ViewParticipate) for that child process.

Resolution:
When K2 is configured to start an IPC with Integrated User Authentication, K2 will use the account under which the K2.net Server service is started with, to plan the IPC process. If this user does not have Start rights on the IPC process, or if the K2 Server Service is started as Local System account, the IPC Start will fail because of security. In other words, to use Integrated User Authentication, ensure that your K2.net Server service is started under a user account that has Start security rights on the IPC process
