Has anyone run into issues with out of the box workflows after installing Nintex Workflows and Forms?

I installed this week and now users are reporting that some of their workflows prior to Nintex are kicking off and failing.  If they run a second time manually they seem to complete.    I tried a simple reboot of the workflow manager server just to see if that helped, no luck.

Hopefully this is a known issue, that someone can share the fix for.

​hey David, first time I have heard of this.. I'd be checking the ULS to find out why the OOTB are failing.

are you using Workflow Manager for OOTB workflow or 2010 (.NET 3.5) style ? Are  the nintex workflows running on the same lists as the failing ones ? Or is it random.

Nintex workflow utilises the workflow foundation built into SharePoint thus if they are working then OOTB wf should as well. If with Workflow Manager it is a different story it I can't think of why it would be causing issues. The ULS should provide all the clues you need. I take it Nintex workflows aren't failing ?
