Symptoms

When trying to install K2 for SharePoint some of the web parts would fail, additionally the K2 Worklist would never load and would always sit and spin.
 

Diagnoses

The installation of K2 for SharePoint was being attempted on the SharePoint server which is not where the installation is meant to occur.


 

Resolution

After installing K2 for SharePoint on the K2 server and configuring the SharePoint server for apps (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/FP161236.aspx) we were able to run AppDeployment.exe on the SP server, install, register run the K2 for SharePoint app.
