I have the following software installed on my machine:
Windows 2000 Server (SP4)
VS.NET 2003
.NET Framework 1.1
Office 2003 suite
K2.net 2003 Studio
K2.net 2003 Studio Refresh v 3.3279.1.0
K2.net 2003 SmartForms v 3.3215.1.0
When I try to install the K2.net 2003 Office System Components, I get the
message "Please close all running instance of K2Studio.exe" even when K2
Studio is not running.
Any ideas?

Try verifying in the Task Manager (invoked via Ctrl-Alt-Del) that no K2Studio.exe process is still active, even though the UI is not visible.
Rename the folder containing the actual installation files to K2, run the installation again.
