Symptoms
Client cannot install client components on their machine.
Diagnoses
Simple install with Client Components requires Visual Studio to be installed.
Resolution
While on gotomeeting, we attempted to install the Simple Installation> Client Components. This did not work as the client didn't have a previous version of Visual Studio installed. Client indicated they do not use Visual Studio and would not need the component installed. We proceeded to do a Custom Install without the Visual Studio component and Blackpearl installed successfully. We also walked through Smartforms installation without error.
