InfoPath Data Connection Error
 

Diagnoses

I have a drop down list field in my InfoPath form that will get the choices from a data connection "Get choices from an external data source". My external data source is from a data connection created through the Data Connection Wizard and receives data from a SharePoint list. When I preview the form the drop down list field will work as expected and display my choices.

I deploy the workflow and open a new instance of the form and I will receive the following error:
"You do not have permissions to access a SharePoint list that contains data required for this form to function correctly."

My user account and the k2 service account have site collection admin permissions for this site collection.

This is version K2 blackpearl 4.6.2. The path to the secondary data source when converting and uploading it as a .udcx appears to be duplicated:

Resolution

I believe this issue was resolved in version 4.6.3 and later. Please see the KB article below:

"Publishing a browser enabled InfoPath form, containing SmartObjects and web services, to a SharePoint Form Library results in duplication in the URL. The user is then unable to open an InfoPath form from a worklist item using Form Services."

Additionally, a coldfix is available for version 4.6.2 if you are unable to upgrade at this time.
