Symptoms


I can't install blackpearl and smartforms on my client PC
 

Diagnoses


This works the same as with blackpearl. You have to install the client tools before you can see them in Visual Studio.
 

Resolution

Copy the K2 smartforms installation media to the client machine and install the "K2 smartforms process wizards". After that try and open Visual Studio again and let me know if it worked.

If the "K2 smartforms process wizards" have already been installed on the machine, (you can do a repair by right-clicking on the K2 SmartFoms Process Wizards.msi in the installation/setup folder) have a look to see if they appear in K2Studio. If the appear in K2Studio, then try and refresh the toolbar in Visual Studio.
