From the standard SP list menu in the Items section when a list item that has a task associated with it is selected only the Workflows button in the Workflows area is enabled. I thought the request approval action would use or enable those buttons so a user could respond to a task from the list site views. If this isn't the correct type of task to use the approve/reject buttons which is?
