How to update process data field value in K2 designer?

Hi,

I know in code base it is easy to update data field value. Is there any way to update data field value in K2 designer??

Like any event? Set a succeeding rule? Or something else..

Please provide detail steps of how to do. Any picture is appreciated.

Is this in smartforms (K2 Designer) or in the workflow (K2 Studio, K2 for Visual Studio ...)?

If this is for the workflow, in K2 Studio or K2 Designer for Visual Studio you can accomplish this via the Data Event wizard.

Drag a Data Event from the Toolbox to the Activity.
Select the option to "Transfer Data". This is the default.
On the Data Location screen select Assign.
Specify the data you want to copy as the Source textbox and use the Process/Activity Data context menu on the right pane to drag and drop the required data field to the Destination textbox.
