Hi *
I am in a situation described below :
- My K2.net server is working properly. Yesterday I installed the K2 Out-Of-Office service properly (I restarted the computer when the installing complete too .)
- Then, I start Out-Of-Office service by input the link : "http://servername/K2V3/outofoffice/outofoffice.aspx" to IE ( logined by my AD account).
- In the opened screen, I checked on all checked boxes, searched the user that will receive all my worklist items and clicked button "OK"
- I test a K2 work flow under my account, and then under my assigned proxy account but nothing happened.
All my worklists items still sent to me.
Could you help me to start and run the OutOfOffice service properly?
Thank you verry much.

I guess it makes sense to explain what the Out of Office service does before going into the troubleshooting.
The OOO service is a windows service that polls the Worklists of users who have been configured as out - at configured intervals. If these users have new items, the service will then redirect the items to the configured proxy or stand-in. Based on this very brief explanation, there are a couple of things to look out for.
Firstly, new items will be in your Worklist for a short time (dependant on the polling interval) before being sent to the user configured to take over your items. The service does not interfere with or impede K2 Server from sending items to Worklists, rather it takes over from where K2 Server left off. So it will check items in user s Worklists and just redirect them. You can change the polling interval by changing the Interval node in the K2OutOffice.config file. Point to note here is that decreasing the interval from the standard 300 seconds may affect your overall performance. You will also have to restart the service before these settings will take affect.
Second point is that the items get redirected. You will thus need to start the Out of Office service with a user account that has administrator rights on the K2 Server before it will allow you to redirect items. For more info on this, please check the installation manual for OOO.
Lastly, if you are using Integrated Authentication, the "K2Connectionstring" key should be empty, i.e. <K2Connectionstring></K2Connectionstring>. This is only used for opening the connection to the K2 Server when using a custom user manager, not the Out of Office database tables. The service will get that information from the K2 Server configuration.

Thank you for your supportting
1-I tried to change the Interval (restarted the service)
2-I confirmed that The OOO was started by the I2 Server administrator also .v.v
But the OOO did not take effect.
I think there are some gaps in my knowledge about OOO.
I have not got the OOO instal manual.
Could you tell me where can I find and download the Out Of Office manual and other related support document ?
If I need the support about OOO by email, where could I email to ?
