Hello,

I have the following category structure in K2 Designer:

Root > Company > Department > SmartObjects

I have K2 project in Visual Studio called "Department" and a subfolder called "SmartObjects" where I place my SmartObjects.

When I deploy this project it creates the following category structure in K2 Designer by default:

Root > Department > SmartObjects > mySmartObject

How can I configure my K2 project in VS so it places my SmartObjects into already created category structure (Root > Company > Department > SmartObjects).

I do not want to manually move SmartObjects to another category each time I deploy it or modify my project name to "Category" and then have 2 level folder structure.

Hi identifyer

I understand you don't want to rename your VS project, but the only way (that I know) you can do what you want is to name your project "Company" and then have 2 levels of folder underneath (Department/SmartObjects).

Hi,

From my experience, when i am deploying a smartobject through package and deployment tool , if i have already moved the smartobject, i jsut untick the category and it deploys fine to the location where it was.

Hope that helps
