Symptoms


We need instruction on how to move logging to the D drive
and advice on how to manage archive settings for the log.
The log is currently writing to C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlHost ServerBin
 

Diagnoses


You can do this by updating the "Property Name="LogFilePath..." element under the "AppSetting" node of the 'HostServerLogging.config' file(this file is located in the "C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlHost ServerBin" folder directory).
E.g. "Property Name="LogFilePath" value="D:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlHost ServerLog"

 

Resolution

You can do this by updating the "Property Name="LogFilePath..." element under the "AppSetting" node of the 'HostServerLogging.config' file(this file is located in the "C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlHost ServerBin" folder directory).
E.g. "Property Name="LogFilePath" value="D:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlHost ServerLog"
Keep in mind the K2 service NEEDS to be restarted for the change to be effected.
