I had added a java script code in content editor webpart to hide K2 configuration icon where filter options are set, its required to be hidden because some users set to different filter value other than drop down from the configuration icon which impacts all the users. Java script i had the opton to add admin users on who can modify it but this led to performance issue i.e k2 worklist refresh icon keeps on spinning continously after approving 5-6 requests or if the site is left unattended more than 30 min.

Spinning was stopped if i remove the java script code in CEWP but I need to hide the configuration icon too. Please let me know the solution for the problem.
