We have a library that uses Nintex workflows (2016 on prem) to query a SQL database and update certain columns in the library.  Sometimes, data changes in the underlying database and the user needs to get that data updated in SharePoint.  We have a manually started workflow that the user accesses from the Item menu.  However, the Nintex Start form opens in a new tab, and when there are several documents in the library that need to be updated, all of the new tabs that are created are annoying for our user.

Is there any setting or other method of not creating a new tab when this Nintex Initiate Workflow form opens?

So many pluses to this! And in this instance I'm not even worried about the user (though they're a not too distant second wink.png), *I* as the designer/tester of the forms have an issue keeping track of all the tabs.

Did you ever figure out a way to make this stop? I'm currently having the same issue and cannot figure out a way to have it open in the same tab.
