How to display eror message in same SmartForm?

Can we show error message in this same form?

For example i have button search in my K2SmartForm(Search.aspx) and as soon as user click search button, it will start process Search(goes to Validation activity). And if the validation is False then it goes to NotValidated Activity(show error automatically in Search Form).

How can i do it?

Because if i use Client event in NotValidated Activity, it will need destination user, and the form will be open and show the error if user(destination user) open his/her worklist.

Any help will be appreciated
