I want to display only current year in a text field or in calender field, how can i do that?

Thanks alot for a quick answer, seem like it worked, but iam getting an error on the field saying that " The Date is invalid or in inncorrect format"??

as I mentioned to set the expression on a text field not calendar :) 

 

its not possible to format the calendar control like this.
