Symptoms

We have an activity that is set to Plan per Slot (no destination) to create a loop for the events within the activity (http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2blackpearl/UserGuide/4.6.9/webframe.html_Plan_Per_Slot_-_No_Destinations.html)

One of the events in the looping activity is calling an IPC process for each item. Based on what I see, it creates the slot for each IPC based on dynamic _ slots to create at the same time. Is there a way to put a delay between each IPC event. Ideally we would like something like 5 seconds between each IPC call in the loop so it doesn't put too much demand on the server for processing them.

Or some way to do them in smaller batches, like 5 at a time?

I researched out some ways to get the required behavior and found a couple of both internal and external documents.
 

Resolution

The customer was able to work around the issue per suggested link.
