We have a smartform with start date and end date. I'd like to create a calendar view for it in K2 designer. K2 is Standalone environment without SP integration. Customer wants to know when a Smartforms form is submitted, how does the K2 save information to a SP calendar list?
 

Diagnoses

The only way to save information to a SharePoint calendar to have K2 with SharePoint integration. Which is included in the out-of-the-box feature for SharePoint 2010. If you have SharePoint 2013 then you will need K2 for SharePoint.

Since the customer's environment has no SharePoint integration, the only way to accomplish your request is by downloading the third party custom control in which I suggested before. Build calendar view with the custom control and get the runtime URL to have it linked to SharePoint. Unfortunately, this is the only option you have due to how your environment is setup.
 

Resolution

In order to implement a custom calendar view that the customer requested, please understand that you will have to download a "UNSUPPORTED" third party control.
