I have a SharePoint Leave Request Calendar. I wish to color the events based on approval status. Yellow pending approval, green approved, and either remove event if rejected or show as red. How can I change Display Color using Nintex Workflows

It sounds to me like you might need to go through vanilla SharePoint processes and set all this stuff up:

And then just call the specific category set from your Workflow. Then you'd have to ensure that the category updates from type to type when the status changes.
