Hello K2 Experts!

I am very new to K2 and was hoping that you could point me in the right direction...

What I would like to do, is create a booking application for a training course, on it I would like to provide a series of dates that are available and an option to add who would like to attend.

However, for each training session there can only be a maximum of 12 people. How could I create a workflow to achieve the above? (So I can't place someone on the course if it's maxed out, but also when they open the form it would show how many people are on the course already).

I'm using K2 Blackpearl 4.5 and have SharePoint and InfoPath technologies to use!
