Symptoms
The user presented with the following issue:
ACCESS DENIED
The K2 Management site is used to configure and administer K2 Server, Workflow and SmartObject settings. You must have Admin privileges to access this site. Contact your K2 server administrator if you need rights to administer K2.
This message appeared on screen when the user tried to go to the K2 Management Site.
Diagnoses
This was a simply matter of someone having set themselves to have Admin server rights in K2 management. By default anyone is permitted access to the K2 Management site however if someone assigns themselves admin rights K2 will then exclude anyone whom does not have the admin permissions. This is what happened here.
Resolution
To resolve the issue the user that had the server admin rights simply needed to go in to K2 Management, drill down in to WorkFlow ServerandgtandgtWorkFlowsandgtandgtServer Rights and grant the specific user admin rights.
