Symptoms

When IPC is called from a workflow, the IPC child process takes an hour to get started. There were no errors in the logs.
 

Diagnoses

The issue was stemming from the fact that the SQL Server time and the K2 Server time were an hour apart. Because of the difference in the time, the IPC will not be started until the server catches up.
 

Resolution

Changing the time on the servers to match each other resolves the delay.
