Symptoms

These error messages shows when trying to approval task item via Smartforms client event.
1)Pop-up Warning/Error _ 1
"The following location might be invalid. Continue to " Integrated=TrueIsPrimaryLogin=TrueAuthenticate=TrueEncryptedPassword=FalseHost=k2.denallix.comPort=5555"?
2)Another pop-up warning error
"State Integrated=TrueIsPrimaryLogin=TrueAuthenticate=TrueEncryptedPassword=FalseHost=k2.denallix.comPort=5555"
 

Diagnoses

We used the 'Navigate to a URL' rule, and this action was configured to point a custom environment field. Since the target environment did not contain all the custom environment library fields specific to a template created for this solution, and was not set as the default environment library template. K2 was default to use out-of-the box environment fields (i.e. category server connection string). This resulted in a null value being returned for that particular portion of the URL that K2 constructed in the form.
 

Resolution

Re-adding the missing environment library fields to target K2 environment resolved the issue.
