Symptoms
A user that is a member of a group assigned a work list task reports this error.
Diagnoses
SmartObject tester tool is a good tool to start troubleshooting group and users issues. If the user returns correctly with all properties then, it is pretty much sure that the group hasn't been cached correctly.
Resolution
Running the Identity refresh tool for the group and the user resolved the issue.
