We have a task with Assign flexi task action.Task is assigned to multiple approvers.

When the comments of the last approver is taken to a variable or field the comments appear with all the data , like time and date at which the comment was given etc

Eg :

[ USER 1(Not Required) 01/06/2016 17:00 - USER 2 (Not Required) 01/06/2016 17:00 - USER 3 (Not Required) 01/06/2016 17:00 - USER 4 (Not Required) 01/06/2016 17:00 USER 5 (Approved)  01/06/2016 17:00  DONE PLEASE PROCEED ]

We are facing trouble to find out the actual comment given by the approver from this data.

Is there any way to extract and show only the comments of the approver.??

Create a multiple line column and bind that column to the comments textbox in the Assign flexi task.

for example create a column like 'CustomerComments' and bind the comments textbox in the Assign flexi task to this 'CustomerComments' column. This way you can just get the comments and not the date .

how do we take this new coloumn " CustomerComments" (as named by you) into the workflow and set it into log.

The custom  fields in flexi task is not accessible in the workflow.Any workaround for that

In Flexi task We can edit the nintex form

Open the nintex form and in this form you will have a Multi line textbox called 'comments'

Now bind this comments textbox to the new comments column what you have created. By default it is connected to the default Task column 'Comment' .Change that and you can see the result when you the form is saved.
