I need to find the approver of a flexi-task that was sent to a Sharepoint Group.  The "Create individual tasks for all group members" is checked.  I have read a lot of posts on this topic, but it seems like all of the suggestions require jumping through hoops to get the approver.  It seems like this should be out-of-the-box. I tried to use "Last Task Respondent" (from Workflow Context), but that contains the group name.  Any ideas?

I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.  Is there any type of variable that provides the approver who responded to a flexi-task that was sent to a Sharepoint Group?

Approver Comments should give you the most recent  approver name and comment.

Hi Susie,

usually this is a straightforward process.

If you address the task to a SharePoint group without checking the individual tasks for group members checkbox, only one task will be created for the whole group and you won't get any names out of it.

If you get the last approver it will only give you the SharePoint name.

If the check box is checked though there should be an individual task for each user visible in workflow history. Can you confirm this?

If so, after task completion you should be able to get the individual name of the task respondant out of the Common refrerences tab.

If thats not working, could you provide a screenshot of your workflow where you're going to read the task respondant?

Best regards

Enrico
