I find that when I open my largest process (takes 50 seconds) it creates 1,211 files in the directory.

Is this the standard behavior for Workflowflow Foundation?

Is there a way to speed it up by creating a RAMdisk for this temporaily storage?   (I'll request to have SSD installed)

Is there a cause and effect if we were to directly edit the .cs files in the extenderdirectory?

It's quicker to do mass changes this way then opening specific event (which is excruciatingly slow), view code, save.
