Field Missing

I have an InfoPath form 2007. I am using an infoPath client activity I map the form fields to a list. Then I go back to InfoPath clicking the InfoPath Icon on the design surface for the k2 modified visual studio  and create a new field in the datasource, add it to the form view save and exit. When I go back to VS this field does not appear with the rest of the xml fields in the form content. ?
